Maxi's Family Restaurant at 17 Market Street, Barnesville, Georgia.

This is pretty much just the overall superior in every way version of Garden Patch. Want southern comfort food? Check. That old person smell and population that Garden Patch has? Covered up a bit! Buffet? Check. The food quality here is what really stands out to me (though I believe it's reflected in the price) as I don't believe any food item (even its best) at Garden Patch could hold a candle to the worst food item at Maxi's. Just like Garden Patch though I don't think the younger crowd is really going to be around here as it's pricey and full of older people (at least on my visits). Again, the similarities continue as when church lets out this place will just get crazy busy. The selection here is slightly better than the Garden Patch, but the desert selection is streets ahead both in quality and variety. Unlike the Garden Patch I haven't seen signage about accompanying your children to the buffet lines, so hey family goers there is that to look forward to not having to worry about! The actual worst part about this restaurant is it's location the parking on this street is awful (watch out when getting in or out of any parking space here). Also, any old school film buff is going to love this place as the inside is adorned with movie posters from a bygone era that makes the atmosphere inside amazing.
